Large LED Digit Displays

A large digit LED display is designed to show numerical information clearly over much greater viewing distances than a conventional panel meter or small digital display.

London Electronics FUSION displays are designed for industrial applications and can display information including weight, temperature, pressure, flow, level, production counts, speed, RPM and time.

A 4–20mA transmitter can be connected directly to a suitable large process display and scaled into the required engineering value.

Our FUSION-P large digit display accepts industrial process signals including 4–20mA, 0–20mA and 0–10V, making it suitable for displaying pressure, level, flow, temperature and other process measurements.

Yes. Our FUSION-L large digit weighing displays accept load cell inputs directly and can provide a large, clearly visible indication of weight or load.

The correct digit height depends primarily on the maximum viewing distance.

As a guide, our 2-inch digits are typically readable to approximately 25m, 4-inch to 55m, 6-inch to 85m, 8-inch to 120m, 12-inch to 160m and 16-inch to over 200m. Larger digit sizes are available for significantly greater viewing distances.

Yes. A pressure transmitter with an industrial output such as 4–20mA can be connected directly to our FUSION process display.

The display can then be scaled to show the required pressure value and engineering units.

Yes. Suitable level sensors and transmitters can be connected to our large process displays.

For example, a 4–20mA level transmitter can be scaled so that the large display shows litres, tonnes, percentage full, depth or another required engineering value.

Yes. Flow can be displayed from a suitable process, pulse or frequency signal depending on the flowmeter being used.

If you provide the output type from your flowmeter, we can recommend the appropriate FUSION display.

Yes. Our pulse and rate input displays can calculate and display values including RPM, speed, frequency and production rate from a suitable sensor or pulse signal.

Yes. FUSION counter displays can accept pulse, contact closure, NPN, PNP and TTL inputs, making them ideal for large production counters and factory output displays.

Production totals can therefore be clearly visible across a production area rather than only at the individual machine.

Yes. Our large digital timer displays can be configured for countdown and industrial timing applications.

They can be used for production processes, downtime, testing, manufacturing, events and other applications where time needs to be clearly visible at distance.

Yes. FUSION timer displays can be configured for elapsed-time applications as well as countdown timing.

External Start, Stop and Reset controls can also be provided where required.

Yes. Our FUSION-T large temperature displays can accept thermocouple and RTD temperature sensors directly.

Supported sensor types include common thermocouples together with PT100, PT500 and PT1000 sensors.

Yes. Suitable display configurations can use colour changes and alarm thresholds to make abnormal conditions immediately obvious.

For example, a process value could display green during normal operation and change to red when a preset limit is exceeded.
