Professional Flyball Timing & Flyball Lights System

Many traditional flyball timing systems have been developed using lightweight consumer electronics. While these can perform the basic timing function, organisers can face problems including:

  • Poor visibility in bright sunlight
  • Displays that become difficult to read from a distance
  • Lightweight hardware not designed for repeated transport
  • Long lead times for repairs or replacement equipment
  • Limited system expansion
  • Minimal data integration
  • Basic race management functionality

LE Flyball Pro has been developed to overcome these limitations, combining robust industrial hardware with dedicated flyball timing software and professional race signalling.

Individual run, start and changeover information can help teams analyse performance and work on faster, more consistent starts and passes.

Can I use LE Flyball Pro as a flyball training timer?

Yes. The system can be used during training sessions to provide accurate electronic timing rather than relying on handheld stopwatches.

The same sensor gates and timing hardware used for racing can therefore become a valuable training tool.

Is LE Flyball Pro easy to set up?

Yes. Simple setup was one of the key design objectives of LE Flyball Pro.

The sensor gates require just one RJ45 connection back to the Brain Box, with straightforward connections from the Brain Box to the race clock and Andon light stack.

This keeps race-day setup simple and avoids a mass of individual sensor wiring.

Do the flyball sensor gates require lots of separate cables?

No. The sensor gate assembly connects back to the Brain Box using a simple RJ45 connection.

The sensors are managed within the gate assembly, keeping the external cabling straightforward for the user.

What connects to the LE Flyball Pro Brain Box?

The Brain Box is the central hub of the LE Flyball Pro system.

The sensor gates connect to the Brain Box using RJ45, with connections from the Brain Box to the large race clock and LED Andon light stack. Wireless browser-based controllers can then communicate with the system over Wi-Fi.

Does LE Flyball Pro use Wi-Fi?

Yes. Wi-Fi can be used for the race control interface.

This means the main timing hardware can retain reliable physical connections while the user enjoys the convenience of wireless race control.

Do I need a special Flyball EJS controller?
