The requirement was straightforward but mission-critical: provide a durable, easy-to-use health and safety display that could clearly communicate accident statistics and important safety information to staff. Our solution was a bespoke LED display designed specifically for Wedge Galvanisers, capable of tracking and showing both “Days Since Last Lost Time Accident” and “Total Accidents in the Last 12 Months.”
Built using our proven industrial-grade technology, the displays are rugged enough to withstand the demanding conditions of galvanising plants, where heat, dust, and vibration are everyday challenges. The units feature a robust enclosure, long-life LEDs, and fully sealed electronics to ensure continuous performance with minimal maintenance. Durability and reliability were non-negotiable, and our design delivers on both counts.
Ease of use was also a key factor. The system includes simple reset options that allow authorised staff to update accident counters quickly and accurately, without the need for specialist technical knowledge. This ensures the information displayed is always current and trusted by employees across the site.
Beyond the counters, each display incorporates a dynamic text messaging function, allowing live safety alerts, announcements, or event information to be sent directly to the workforce in real time. This flexibility transforms the system from a static safety board into an interactive communication platform, reinforcing awareness and strengthening the company’s safety culture.
To meet Wedge Galvanisers’ requirements across multiple sites, we manufactured and supplied four complete systems, ensuring consistency of information and communication throughout their operations. Installation was designed to be straightforward, allowing minimal disruption and fast deployment.
