Velocity / Speed indicator

This precision velocity / speed indicator accepts pulse inputs from such sensors as NPN, PNP or namur proximity switches, rotary encoders etc.

Suited for these applications and more:-

• Speed of Impact testing in materials QA
• Stamping speed in forming presses
• Vehicle speed
• Ball speed in sports

You can select from the following speed formats:-

 » metres per second
 » millimetres per second
 » kilometres per hour
 » miles per hour
 » feet per second

The distance between the sensors can be set from 10.0 to 10000.0 mm.

The INT-C-VELOCITY indicator accepts pulse inputs from such sensors as NPN, PNP or namur proximity switches, rotary encoders etc. It can be easily scaled to read velocity or speed of a projectile or object in mm/S, m/S, km/h, mph, etc. It has a number of useful plug-in options which make it ideal for use in many control and monitoring applications.
Input connections	Two input channels available. Excitation voltage output.
Input Signal	The meter can accept NPN, PNP, contact closures, 5V pulses, 24V pulses, low level AC and high level AC signals. Debounce filtering for contact inputs. Frequency range 0.03Hz to 50 000 Hz.
Excitation	24V DC up to 100mA
Digits	5 digits, 14mm high. Legible up to 7 metres away
Digit colour	Red or green
Scaling	Digital menu-free system. Floating point scale factors for precise scaling. No need to calculate scale factors - simply enter a typical input frequency and desired reading value and the meter will compute scale factor automatically.
Filtering	Debounce filering for contact closure inputs.
