4 wire Resistance Meters
The INT2-R is a low cost yet highly precise, stable, flexible and easy to use 1/8 DIN scalable resistance display, and our top seller, for both display-only and display + output applications.
It has a number of useful plug-in options which make it ideal in many control and monitoring applications.
It also has a 10 point linearising function, which lets you correct for non-linearities.
The front panel buttons can be locked, and there is an optional plain front panel with no buttons, which can be put in place of the standard front, after calibration.

If you need to be able to read the display in a reflection, for example in a heads-up display system, you can switch it to display a mirrored image.
Interesting fact
The INT2-R is the latest release of this well established display, which was first sold 12 years ago. The fact that it is still a popular seller after all these years is proof that it is 'right' for the job. We designed it, we build it, we know it inside out, so you can count on us for first class support.
Plus...
You can now order this display with digits up to 400mm high! Exactly the same well-proven software and hardware, but with digits of 57mm, 102mm, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm or 400mm high. Ideal for large factories, or anywhere where you need to see your important measurements from far away, inside or outside. The large version is known as the Fusion family, sealed IP65 all round. Resistance measuring panel meter with compensation
The problem...
Many people use resistance meters to check that a coil winding has the correct number of turns, or to check for shorted turns.
The problem is, the resistance of some materials, such as copper, changes with temperature - more than most people realise.
For every 10 deg.C temperature change, the resistance of a coil of copper will change by around 4%. This sensitivity means that normal resistance readings have little meaning in QA applications, unless you monitor the temperature of the resistance.
Let's say you measure the resistance of a copper coil at 30 degrees C.
Assume it reads 5.000 Ohms
At 20 degrees C it would read 4.803 Ohms.
The solution...
We've developed a meter which will compensate for changes in ambient temperature. It gives a constant reading for any given coil, regardless of ambient temperature.

This means you don't need to refer to a chart to correct for temperature changes.
Model INT-R-COMP. Options include:
Alarm relay outputs (2 or 4 relays)
Isolated analogue output, 4-20mA or 0-10V
Serial data output, RS232 or RS422
Resistance ranges include:
- 0-10 Ohms
- 0-25 Ohms
- 0-100 Ohms
The meter uses a 4 wire connection scheme to eliminate the effects of contact and cable resistance. We normally set the meters to read "Ohms at 25C".
