Serial Data input Large Displays
These large displays accept most common serial data ASCII signals such as RS232, RS422, RS485 etc. They can easily be adapted to display data within complex strings, thanks to their flexible dat editing capability.
These displays are addressable.
You have a range of digit sizes to choose from, to suit the viewing distance you need.
Suited for these applications and more:-
- Weight display - as a slave on a weighbridge or crane
- Time display - as a slave off a master clock
- Temperature display - as a slave off another temperature device
- The display of any numeric value typed on a PC keyboard.
This page has 3 models for you to choose from:-
[FUSION] [ERXS] [S17XX]
The FUSION is a highly precise, stable, flexible and easy to use large digit serial slave display, and our top large digit seller, for both display-only and display + output applications.
You can choose from digit sizes of 57mm, 102mm, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm do suit the viewing distance in your application. We have a digit size selector which may help you to choose the best digit size for your application.
It has a number of useful plug-in options which make it ideal in many control and monitoring applications.
The front panel buttons can be locked, or can be operated by remotely wiring 4 pushbuttons to the display.
If you need to be able to read the display in a reflection, for example in a heads-up display system, you can switch it to display a mirrored image.
Interesting fact
The FUSION was designed to combine the benefits of our three most popular products...
- The INTUITIVE (High precision, easy to use panel meter)
- The 1700 Series (Large digits and sealed enclosure, ideal for use outside and in large industrial environments)
- The Easy Reader (Economical large digit display family)
We designed it, we build it, we know it inside out, so you can count on us for first class support.
Plus...
We are often asked to combine several fusion displays of various functions into one common display. See here for examples. Please contact us if you would like us to quote for a system to suit your requirements.

The S175X series is a family of sealed slave displays which can be wall mounted, suspension mounted or panel mounted.
They offer a wide range of digit sizes, brightness options, and led colours.
They can also be used to create custom-made multi-line numeric displays for monitoring and displaying any physical variable.
Please note: These are older displays which are approaching obsolescence. Please consider the FUSION series for all new projects.
