Model PSC1 Parallel BCD to RS422 converter

Parallel BCD to ASCII converter

This convertor takes BCD data from a PLC and converts it to RS422, to simplify wiring and reduce installation costs.

For example, a parallel PLC output representing 5 digits of BCD would have 20 data lines, a common and a strobe.

If you want to send this data to a remote device, your cabling costs could be high. With the PSC1 you'd only need a 4 core screened cable to the remote device.
