Electro Plating current meters
In many processes, it is useful to know how much charge (such as AmpereHours) has passed. For example, electro-plating processes normally have an ideal plating current. The amount of material deposited depends on the time this ideal current has flowed.
These digital panel meters multiply the average current which has flowed, by the amount of time it has flowed. This gives a readout in:-
- Ampere Hours, or
- Coulombs, or
- Ampere minutes ...
You can see the instantaneous current whenever you want, if you wire an external pushbutton to a pair of the meter's terminals. You can also add useful control options, such as:-
- Dual or quad alarm relays
- Pulsed output relays
- Isolated analogue retransmission
- RS232 or RS422 data output
Our SPC4 environmental covers are ideal accessories to protect your meter from the corrosive atmosphere in the plating room. NEMA4X / IP67 protection, with corrosion resistant materials ensure that your meters will have a long, trouble-free life.
